there is only one martini, the stirred one. always confirm the order, wet to
dry or perfect? very to extra, shaken or stirred, up or on the rocks, gin or
vodka? What type of gin or vodka?

we know it's gin, we know it's roots are with the martinez.

James bond was a horrible guest, he never tipped and always ordered things ass
backwards. That's probably why his martini was drugged in that one movie,
casino royale I think. Honestly, his drinks are a disgrace. Gin and vodka in
a martini are not complementry to eachother, both will fight for flavor rights
with the vermouth, and if you used a twist, don't bother for the same reason.
It should either be one way or the other. not "1 part vodka, 2 parts gin" .

I don't know about the rest of these guys but I can't stand it when someone
waste my time telling me "1 1/2 ounce whatever", don't waste time by telling
your bartender measurements, if they are not sure about the usage of certain
liquors and ingredients they shouldn't be behind the bar and it'll show.

But if someone insisted on being james douche, I would bruise the ever-living
shit out of it, like I was making a ramos gin fizz or something, then serve it
with a smile like it wasn't water.
