It's chilly here in Columbus, and it's reminded me of one of my favorite little creations; The Southern Cider. 2oz of Southern Comfort 4oz of Apple Cider* Whipped Cream Cinnamon Nutmeg Ginger (if you'd like) There are a few ways to make this. If you've got an espresso machine, then add the soco and cider, then steam away until it's warmed to however hot you like it. Or you can warm the apple cider on the stove or in the microwave. Top with a healthy bit of whipped cream, dust with cinnamon and nutmeg and ginger. *Instant cider will work, just warm the Southern Comfort and add the instant cider. Obviously, you'll be using a large amount of southern comfort. I don't recommend driving or serving it anywhere other than your personal party.
