How are you going to achieve a high accuracy in the lower region of your top
25 list if you are directing people only to vote for their number one drink
and not for their lower region drinks as well? Is a collection of people's
number one drinks representing a proper top 25 list?

It may be well possible that a certain drink is very popular in the lower
region among a large crowd but loses from a generally less influential drink
but more popular among a certain small crowd. The former won't get voted due
to the voting setup being limited to one option. The latter has a higher
chance for a vote. E.g. the widely know but less popular Bronx will definitely
lose when compared to less widely known, but if know, very popular Batida. A
drink with a low score on the average person's list but with a large deviation
might win from a drink with a higher average score on the average person's
list but with a lower deviation.

Also, due to a higher differentiation, drinks on the list which resemble each
other very much will get less votes compared to drinks which have less similar
drinks on the list. E.g. the Vesper will get relatively less votes due to the
Martini, bronx, etc compared to the shooter Kamikaze which has less similar
drinks. Add a B52 to the list and your results will change. Your results
should not be influenced by such effects.

There are so many more possible flaws. How do you take into account
demographic influences, influence of the presentation of the question (is
asking to tick your favorites resulting in the most influential cocktails or
most popular cocktails?), deviations (if a drinks scores one vote more is it
regarded a place higher or the same place?), etc.
