Here's how I do it - "Long one counts" - you stop pouring when you finish
saying the count (preferably in your head!).
1/4 oz = 1
1/2 oz = 2
etc, etc
A lot of people will say that you'll lose accuracy with the final count
because there's a certain amount of liquor poured during the cut. This is why
I "Snap Cut" - at the end of the pour, force the bottle downward in a snap
type movement, then pull up. the force from the "snap" stops the pouring
instantly.
