I would be the first person to tell you not to use post mix or pre-mix or
whatever, but i can understand your situation that fresh fruit goes off
quickly. I've never used this product but what i would recommend is getting
something like Funkin purees in, which ive used in the past, they last alot
longer than fresh fruit and they allow you alot more flexiblity than
pre-mixes.
Once again i really recommend fresh lime juice and sugar syrup, alot of
customers do appreciate the difference when they see you hand squeezing limes,
works best in smaller bars but is still do-able in larger venues if you really
have the passion for it.
The other thing you need to consider is if you really think you will get the
turnover of drinks for this sort of thing, its a problem alot of bars have and
to draw the custom you're looking for a blender isn't the only answer, i.e i
work at a bar without a blender, if someone wants a frozen daiquiri i shake it
and serve it over crushed ice. A simple well designed list can easily pull in
the ladies, currently im selling alot of gin, cranberry juice and elderflower
cordial to the ladies or something classic like a bramble or bellini always
goes down well,
Careful about getting a blender if it's tied into a contract with the producer
of this product as well, i've seen many bar get tricked into these sort of
contracts only to realise it's not where they want to be.
Anyway just my 2 cents, have fun playing with drinks and good luck!!
