As to the first part of this conversation, (the words, off, and tangent,
spring to mind!) New spirits? I thought I was getting on a bit, but I still
havn't worked my way properly through the old ones yet! Hows about whisky?
Laphroig, taste the blood, sweat, tears and peat in that. Whiskey, Midleton's
fine as Irish nectar you'll ever taste. Gin? Where do I start? Tanqueray,
Bombay's botanicals, Plymouth, even Larios is not to be sniffed at! And ....
brandy,(cognac or armagnac, if you want to be posh) dog's fuckin' bollocks.
Work your way, and appreciate, the differences in that category alone, you'll
die a very old, (but happy) man.

As to the rum, Morgan's spiced for the ladies, Wood's 100 for us gents.

And flavoured spirits? Lets not knock it. Of course, there's always the
shite,
(even porsche came out with the 944!) but without them, imagine, no southern
comfort,(ta, Heron) no Drambuie, no Bailey's, no Tia Maria etc, etc. The
Russians have been flavouring vodka since time immorial, nowt new. But rum?
Come on guys, original, has, is and always will be the best.

You wanna start something new? P***y flavour, hey, that'll be new!!

  Shit, I'll take two cases!!

sex and drugs and sausage rolls
