So my reason for coming on this sight was of course to get a feel for
bartending in Vegas, which is what I plan to do when I move there in February.
I have 3 years exp. in a nightclub atmosphere, I pretty much know what's up
in the wonderful world of alcohol...
-Can I have a "REAL" job bartending somewhere, instead of an apprentice
bartending job, while taking those 3 hour Union classes? (I want to make money
ASAP, should I bother with Union?)
-About what %percent% of work ON THE STRIP is attainable for me if I am not
in the union? (I plan on living on or within walking distance from it --
insuring a car for me at this point in time is unfortunatly too much money:^(
- And I guess lastly.. a big question... do any of you guys live within
walking distance to the strip? Do you work there too? Are there any areas
close that are cheap and good that you can reccomend? I heard stear away from
North L.V.... true?
By the way, Hi! I'm Valerie, 23 and live in the North East!
