Yes simply drain juice from a jar of cherries and fill it with vodka and let 
em soak, if money is no object then use a berry vodka (skyy berry or absolute 
ras) to take some of the edge off.

Another great party, bar-b-que, or luau item is a plugged watermelon, get a 
big water melon and stand it up in the corner drill/cut a hole in the top end 
and cram a fifth of vodka in the hole it'll take it a while to drain in but 
the melon will soak up the vodka, these are great for floating down the river 
too!!
you can also use the little round seedless watermelons but they wont soak up a 
whole fifth.
