Look, despite popular opinion on this forum, having dealt with bartending
schools for a few years (selling my software to them) I know for a fact that
many people will obtain jobs after completing the school. Obviously there's no
gaurantees, and it's to the individual to go out and find the job, but it
certainly will NOT hurt your chances, and will at the very least get you a bit
more prepared for when you finally do land the gig.

Back when I used to manage - I would automatically disqualify anyone who
wasted my time calling and asking if I was hiring - period. If you're too lazy
to come into the bar and apply in person - well, that just speaks for
itself....
