A lime wedge cannot be called a liquid, you're right, but a squeezing a lime 
produces liquid. ;)

I've pointed this out to many people at weights and measures, and asked the 
question many times, and they've all agreed that the law is flawed.  I've yet 
to receive a solid answer from anyone that works for the government.
