Mescal. You get pretty good Tequila style party feeling going on, and if you
put enough of it down your neck you will doubtlessly be seeing things that
aren't really there. Also, if you can get hold of it and fancy really f***ing
yourself up, Absinthe is the one. But don't be doing any of thet Green Fairy
stuff, try this(learnt from a leeds bartender whose name I forget): Take a
shot glass full of absinthe and stand it in a (clean) ashtray. Sprinkle some
absinthe around the glass, in the ashtray, and light both the spirit in the
glass and in the ashtray. Hold a pint glass open end over the flames and catch
the vapour. When the sides of the glass steam up,drop the pint glass down over
the shot glass so it rests on the ashtray, and let the flames go out. Put a
napkin over the end of the glass to seal it up, and slide a straw between the
napkin and the lip of the glass. Neck the shot, take a deep breath out and
inhale all of the vapour caught in the pint glass(this might make you cry, and
it'll probably require a couple of breaths!!!!). Guaranteed oblivion in a few
easy steps-and if any of you pro's out there fancy using this next time
someone asks for 'something that's gonna get me really drunk' then this'll do
the trick-and you can charge a fortune for it. Just use a bit of common
sense.......or it'll be you mopping up when they puke in the toilets.
Laters,
