First off, my sympathies to your husband. Secondly I can't think of any subs
for Canadian whiskey. The Blanks liqueurs won't be much help as I can't see a
whiskey drinker switching to pseudo Fuzzy navels or mock Amaretto Sours...

"Not a drop of alcohol" takes out bitters (some are 45%) and the majority of
"non-alcoholic" beers (most are .5%). That being said, if your hubby misses
the companionship and camraderie of the local pub, but doesn't want to seem a
teetotaler, may I suggest a highball of 7-up with a splash of coke and a lemon
slice? It will look like a 7&7 to the passerby, he can joke with his buddies
and he won't be shortening his life.

cheers
