Pronounced..."Mock-heeto" ,(for the CH, pretend you're trying to bring up
phlegm), spelt, Mojito, is very basically a mint daiquiri, or if you're in
the French Carribe, a "Ti ponche menthe." Though whilst in Cuba I was shown
other, better rums to make it with, Havana is definately a good choice.
 (sorry Bacardi)

Paolo's spec (not the 1st, the last nor the definate)

  Mojito

  Tall wine glass

  5-6 fresh mint leaves
  1 tsp bar sugar
3oz quality white rum (in Cuba they don't piss about)
  1 whole lime
  4 lime squeezes
      crushed ice

crush mint, sugar and skins of lime squeezes in glass, add crushed ice. Shake
rum and juice of lime over cubed ice, strain to glass. stir thoroughly.

  Salud

  Paolo
