We're talking about Apricot brandy, right?  For me, it's permanently 
associated with the Zombie and by extension Tiki drinks in general -- along 
with orgeat/falernum and tropical fruit juices, it is one of the defining 
ingredients of the genre -- and I'm sure you can come up with plenty of 
recipes, both classic and original, by exploring that direction.

The other thing which comes to mind when I think of Apricot Brandy is the 
Charlie Chaplin, which consists of 3:2:2 Apricot Brandy, Gin, and Lemon Juice.
