Very simple - 1 count = 1/4 oz - obviously this only works with a little
practice, so you can coordinate your count with the amount you pour. Using
this system, a 2 count = 1/2 oz, 3 count = 3/4 oz, 4 count = 1 oz etc.

I'd suggest, getting an empty bottle and a pour spout similar to what they're
using in the bar you work at. Find something that will measure in increments
of 1/4 oz, and practice pouring into a glass, then emptying the glass into the
measuring device to see how you're doing.
