Here is the recipe that I use for the Mai Tai:

Note that while Orgeat syrup might be hard to find, you can also substitute 
Almond syrup, which is essentially all that Orgeat syrup is.

In my mind, the only acceptable Mai Tai mix is that which is sold by Trader 
Vics.
(www.tradervics.com), in fact, this is one of the few drink mixes that I 
actually think works well.

Also note that there are two distinct styles of Mai Tai. The "Beachbum" 
version contains Pineapple juice, which is incorrect. The "Trader Vic" style 
is the correct version.
