Subject: Trying to Identify an old bottle of Weller's
From: Duckman

I was at a flea market this morning and I picked up what seems to be a fairly
old bottle of "Weller's Antique Reserve, 10 years old". Later today I'll be
posting some pictures of the bottle and close-ups of the labels. Basically, I
want to know how old the bottle is. The seal around the top is gold colored,
and has a red and white US Internal Revenue Tax Stamp across the top.
Underneath all the labels the bottle seems to have a gold-colored
splatter-paint design. The back mentions that this whiskey is made just like
in the golden days before prohibition. It is 110 proof. The labels are tan,
and non-glossy. The number on the tax stamp is 510551215. The bottle is
sealed and full of whiskey.
Anyway, pictures to come soon. I am looking for suggestions on where to post
them and link to them, perhaps the webtender flikr. Any help would be
appreciated.
Chris
