Wow, I knew Manhattans were good; but, I didn't know they were gonna get me to 
heaven!

Aged rums make excellent Manhattan-like cocktails.  Cuban Manhattan: 2 oz 
Bacardi 8 (or similar), 1/2 oz Sweet Vermouth, and a dash of angustura 
bitters.  Stir, Strain, garnish with cherry.

Can't say the addition of lime appeals much to me in combination with Sweet 
Vermouth.  

Maybe with Dry Vermouth like in a, Presidente Vincent:  1 1/2 oz decent light 
rum, 1/2 oz dry vermouth, 1/2 oz lime juice, 1/2 teaspoon superfine sugar.  
Sugar rim, shake, strain.
