Subject: How to find good bartenders?
From: jbird

I own a new northwoods lakeside bar/restaurant lodge in NW Wisconsin. My
problem has been finding good bartenders and cooks. We are about 1 hour from
Duluth (MN) and 2 hours from the Twin Cities (MN). Because we are in the
heart of the tourism/lakes area we attract patrons from the big cities
year-round. We want to have "big city quality sevice in our northwoods
setting". Most of our staff are long time locals and are used to a diferent
style of service and performance. We pay well and even provide housing for
some of our staff, yet we have yet to attract any "professional help". Any
thoughts?

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
