What it takes to be a bartender? An extensive knowledge of your product-what
it is, how to serve it, what to mix it with, who to serve it to;a lively
demeanour;ability to communicate with a wide variety of people and a
sensitivity to their needs, likes and dislikes. I'm not entirely sure what
you're trying to ask, I think i get the picture, but to be honest, if you've
got the skills it's not going to matter about not being 110lbs. Similarly, it
doesn't matter what you weigh/look like-if you're terrible at your job then
the money will dry up. OK, I accept that appearance will to some extent draw
cash from the foaming at the mouth, crotch grabbing jock straps, but to be
honest who wants their money given all the resultant (and unwarranted)
attention that it cedes. Work hard, always try to learn one thing (at least)
per shift and remember that just like bottles, people come in all shapes and
sizes.
