Well drinks are made from from what's in "well"- a speed rack normaly located
under the counter or near the ice bin not in view of customers. The least
expensive brands carried by the establishment. If you order a generic drink
like rum and coke, scotch and water,or any other drink where you do not name
the brand your drink is made with what's in the well, there fore it is less
expensive.(or should be)The discriminating drinker will ask what brands are in
the well or"what's you bar brand for gin ,scotch, whatever".Some places have
premium brand for bar brands and other have real $4a btl rot gut.You won't
know if you don't ask ,If the brand is unexceptable pay the extra few bits and
get what you like such as a tangeray martini,or hornito margarita.

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
