Subject: Finally Lost my job
From: ConfusedBrainChild

After months of watching my bar fail to bring in people, me making $20 a
shift, and seeing people get one drink and leave; my bar is finally closing
for "winter." I have a feeling they won't reopen.

That means time for job searching, which I haven't done in a long time. I
remember when I first tried getting into the industry.. getting depressed
because I put in applications to 50 bars and didn't get any call backs. I'm
also confused about where to go.

I live in a college town right now, but currently nothing is moving and no one
is hiring (I've heard this from inside sources) My dream would be to bartend
in a local resort town which is a 30 minute drive. Should I just try the
resort town in hopes that I'm in good standing for the summer?

Any advice?
