Dear Dor Peles, maybe you should know that the word "batida" in portuguese
means "blended", so can you explain me how can you get a clear batida if you
put in a blender fresh coconut and cachaca or rum and blend it at high speed ?
I spent 6 months in Brazil while I was working with "Sea Goddess Cruise Lines"
and I travelled all over the country and tried different "Batidas" from
strawberry to banana, but the coconut one has always been the color of coconut
milk , nice and white, otherwise it wouldn't be a batida but a coconut
flavoured rum, you know what I mean ?
Cheers
Dom Costa
