Daniel,

The cherry trick uses two shaker tins and 3 cherries

Hide a cherry in your hand as you show the bar crowd the inside of two empty
shakers. When you lower the shakers drop the hidden cherry into one of the
shakers.

Spin the shaker in your hand (360) with the cherry in it (making sure gravity
keeps the cherry at the bottom of the shaker) and put it upside down on the
bar - the cherry will then drop onto the bar under the shaker.

Place another cherry ontop of the shaker, telling the crowd that you intend to
make it pass through the stainless steel top of the shaker to the other side.
Spin the second shaker and place it over the first (covering the cherry). Get
a customer to use a straw as a magic wand and tap the top of the shaker.
Remove the two shakers together - exposing the hidden cherry that has now
dropped through the shaker onto the bar.

As you lift the two shakers, ensure the second cherry drops into the back of
the top shaker and then repeat the process by spinning the shaker with the
cherry in it onto the cherry on the bar (now there will be two cherries under
the shaker on the bar) as another cherry gets placed onto the shaker etc

It's kinda hard to describe in writing but if you remember that the object of
the trick is to always have one extra cherry that is kept at the bottom of one
shaker and is held there by gravity when spun

PS. I'm still looking for a new trick

Jay
