I have an itsy bitsy bottle of Averna. It's a dark bitter alcohol with a hint
of spiciness. I can't find any recipes for the stuff. I found the stuff's
web page but there aren't any recipes there either.
I did a search on webtender and have learned that it falls in the bitters
category (sure tastes like it) and that it can be had neat or on the rocks (I
have enough hair on my chest)(no, I am not female).
But, while I see several recipes with (for) campari (yes, that sure is an
acquired taste but then again, so was scotch and well worth it so I'll keep
working on that one) none with Averna.
Anyone have any recipes suitable for an itsy bitsy bottle (airplane bottle
size)?
