Just typing up some closing duties for a checklist for my tenders, figured I'd
post it, it's all common sense stuff, but we've all been suprised by the lack
of this in co-workers before, anything I'm overlooking? Anything anyone wants
to comment on, figure it could be some use to a rookie.
q All bills grouped together nicely; all bill faces aligned with no folded
edges.
q Calculator returned with till
q All coin that can be MUST BE rolled
q Beer fridge light turned OFF
q Make sure all credit transactions are closed and print outs stapled together
nicely in cashout
q Make sure bartop is wiped clean & is not sticky (try club soda)
q Place bar mats into bus tub
q Make sure bar back is clean and tidy (this is not the barbacks job)
q Your barback will collect all garnishes/juice containers plus any bus tubs
behind bar
q Collect all bar rags used and place them in dirty rag sack in kitchen
q Make sure all bottles are capped with Dixie cups
