I'll go even further: the original poster's writing reads a lot like how he
describes his interviewing. He uses ellipses (...) to substitute for
connecting thoughts, rambles without building to a point, and drops into
mumbles ("ya'da ya'da") instead of concluding.
I recommend that if he wants to improve his speech he might work on improving
his writing. The skills are nearly the same and the problems seem analogous.
