For something like Soco and lime, a 12ct sounds right.  I ask you this: did 
the shots come out even?  I'm guessing they did (to the line, probably).  It's 
a shaken shot, so the ice is going to make a difference and it should.  Why 
would you get a full pour of liquor in a mixed shot? If someone asked me for a 
Soco over with a splash of lime, they would get a full pour.  If he had mixed 
full shots of Soco with the right amount of lime for the shot and shaken, 
you'd end up with extra...are you suggesting that if I order 6 snakebite 
shots, I should actually get 9 shots (approx what would be a 'full' pour I 
guess)?  

If you want the full shot of liquor, order it that way.
