I did something similar, however since I added more vanilla (for my personal 
preference) the mixture came out more vanilla flavored than coffee (though the 
coffee essence was definitely there) and more watery than regular kahlua. That 
is, however, not to say that it was bad. In fact, my friends generally prefer 
my concoction for sipping as a digestif, straight up or on the rocks.
