The only requests i hear regularly with no ice are generally 2 ingredient
named drinks:

Vodka & orange, no ice.
JD & coke, no ice.
Etc.

This is quite straight forward, pour liquor, add mixer, move on.

Very ocasionally i've been asked for a named cocktail without the ice and i've
stopped and clarified with the customer, explaining that ice is one of the
ingredients while it's being made in the tin and that it would usually be
served over ice in the glass. They can then confirm how they'd like it, with
ice being left out at either stage.

PS: Thread titles like "I have a question..." and "Request..." aren't very
helpful for giving an indication as to the subject of the thread for people
reading them. It also doesn't help with search results if you come up with a
list of results all with vague titles. Just a thought. :)
