

No, that's flat out wrong. If management has no loyalty to you, why should
they expect any from you?
Ask yourself this question: If you were hired into this bar and the next
week, the guy who trained you was gone, would you ask why? Personally, I've
always been of the mindset that whoever is going to train anyone I help hire
is going to be the best one suited to do so - if not me, then the best person
in X position, the one that gets it all right, and I'd hope most managers do
the same.
So, that being said, if I saw crew vanishing like that without cause, I'd be
asking why - so what if the new guy can sling drinks slightly faster? Is he
hotheaded, is he dependable, is he a thief? Get a hard working crew who's
honest, reliable, and willing and able to get the job done, and then work on
keeping them there. Everyone is replaceable, true, but employee replacement
shouldn't be a GOAL, it should be a last resort.
