Subject: STORIES ON BARTENDING DURING THE OLYMPICS
From: Jason Jelicich

Howdy fellow mixologists!
My name is Jason and I write for a magazine called 'Australian Bartender'.
I'm just started researching for a new feature story on the impact that the
Olympics will have on our industry, in terms of the influx of different
cultures/ languages/ etiquettes etc.
Are there many bartenders out there who have worked in or around an Olympic
city and experienced these changes first hand? Has anyone heard stories of
what impact (if any) there was on the hospitality trade - especially bars.
My aim is to provide Sydney (and Australian) bartenders with an understanding
of how their work may change in terms of their clientel, tips, general
communication etc. I'd be interested in any opinions/ stories you may have.
Thanks in advance.
Jason
