Thanks for all your responses. I'm definitely getting a receipt.

The reason for the big orientation group was to replace many people who've
left. For all their schedules they have 22 bartenders all together, each
working a max of 3 shifts (with 3-5 bartenders on each shift (Mon-Sunday
10am-6pm, 6pm-2am) The reason why I'm so gung ho on giving this place a try
is because I work a regular corporate job Mon-Fri in NYC (I commute to/from
NJ) and many other places wanted me to work at least one night during the week
which I cant (since I can't make it back to NJ in time for evening shifts).
This place is the only place that said it's okay to just work Saturdy & Sunday.

I'll give it a shot, but will leave if I feel something's strange going on.
I'm a little skeptical about how the bartenders are supposed to "push"
champagne sales which we get a commision of and how a customer can take a
bartender in the private room (I'm told just for talking) for a fee which the
bartender would split with the house. For ex. a custome wants the bartender
for himself for 30minutes, the mgmt will come up with a fee say $150 and the
house gets half & bartender gets half. I talked to the other bartenders there
and they seem fine with this and say that's where you make alot of your money.

I asked about this on a stripper message board and this appears to be a
"normal" practices in strip clubs.
Thanks again
