Oh god. PLEASE do not bring up having to burn wells. One of my favorite
shifts, we had 2 of our 3 experienced barbacks quit, and the 4th was literally
on his very first shift. Then, we had one of the highest total sales for my
bar that we've EVER had (more than quadrupled our fire cap), and you know
the kind of night I'm talking about.
I ran out of:
Well vodka
Red Bull
Grey Goose
Crown
Jack
Glasses
Bud Light
Miller Light
Coors Light
Half of my imports
And then, at the very worst of it, a glass gets knocked into my ice well. So,
I was pretty much screwed. I ended up spending about 15 minutes pouring
straight shots into paper cone cups because I had nothing else I could sell.
But hey - the money was good.
