Olive brine is heavily salted water that the olives are put in and aged for a 
short time in order to preserve them.  Similar to how people used to preserve 
meat e.g. salt beef and salt pork.  So, the olive brine is just salt water 
that tastes like olives b/c they have been stored in it.
