The recipe I have is as follows:
3.75 cups sugar
2 cups water
Boil sugar and water in saucepan for 10 minutes
1.5 oz instand coffee
1 cup water
Bring to boil and allow to cool
1 qt vodka
1 cup brandy
1 vanilla bean cut lengthwise (or .25 tsp vanilla extract)
Mix all together, when very cool, in a gallon size glass jar. Store in dark
place undisturbed for 6 weeks.
Never tried the recipe personally but I was told this is the best. Sounds
pretty good to me... let me know, if you do try it, how it turns out. Cheers
Bryan
