I got Peter Bohrmann's "The Bartender's Guide" for Christmas, its waterproof
(a plus!) has everything from glassware to pouring and shaking techniques to
about 1400 recipies categorized by liquor. It's really easy to follow and
really informative, and not horribly expensive. It's kind of heavy, but worth
it. hope that helps! :-)
