After pounding the pavement and calling then going on interview after
countless interview I get a bite. I was told the job would be bartending so I
take it. Now the tune has changed. After a grace period will I be promoted
up. Sure, industry standard these days. Then my new boss informs me that my
former boss had some "bad things" to say about me. (hello lawsuit!) New boss
decides to prolong the introductory period and has hired other 'will-be'
bartenders. Sure summer's around the corner so I am not too thrown off by
this but then....One of my resumes (Thanks Ms.Charming BTW) did it's magic and
I got a call from a new pub opening in April. I know it's unethical and wrong
to 'back-out' of a new job espically since I've been there for only 11 days.
But I am guaraunteed to make great $$ and will be behind the pine in August.
Why not in April? Because the pub is owned by a restaurant and they want to
use their established bartenders for the grand opening. I'll be
barback/cocktail waitress until then. What should I do?
