I think it's ok to make margaritas in advance. The only concerns are a.) that
if you blend or put on ice it will melt and water the drink down. b.) it will
seperate so you'll gave to give a good stir before serving. Aside from that,
as long as you serve that day I don't think you'll have a noticable
depriciation in quaility as long as it's kept cold. They make pitchers with a
"tube" in the center that you fill with water and freeze so the ice isn't in
direct contact with the drink. You can also do the same thing if you are
creative by freezing a tupperware or some other sort of container and sticking
this in the pitcher... just my two cents. Good luck
