Well, I guess some people 1) have no common sense and 2) are lazy and will do
the bare minimum to get by, or 3) both.

Number 1 frustrates me, but in the end there is nothing I can do to knock
common sense into them-- money motivation doesn't work, yelling doesn't work,
passive aggressiveness doesn't work (because i'll probably end up taking the
blame for the poor stocking job if i unstock after my shift, lol). Number 2 is
sad, and can be only changed by financial motivation, and not even in all
cases. Number 3 is just a sign that I need to suck it up and stab myself in
the eye with a sharp stick, and try to keep the venting/ranting at a minimum
here :)
