I fully understand blowing off steam, as you might find by reading a thread
that I started earlier this week.

As far as bartenders not stocking: EVERY bartender should be held accountable
to restock after their shift, and they should be restocking EVERYTHING that
needs to be stocked or filled. This is the norm for every bar that I've worked
in or that my friends work in. In some places the barbacks can do a lot of the
stocking. Regardless of who does it, it needs to be done every shift. I can't
think of anything that I hate worse than reaching for something and it not
being there because someone else used it all and did not replace it.

I don't understand why you have to come on to shift and stock. Granted, I
usually have to do some things when I get to work but not full on stocking. If
I left my barcooler half empty and all my liquer unstocked I could easily be
fired!
