Besides the ones in the other thread, including hte traditional New Orleans 
version of the Hurricane, here are two other New Orleans drinks.
I'll post the recipes for a Ramos Gin Fizz (aka New Orleans Gin Fizz) and 
Bourbon Milk Punch tomorrow.
Sazerac Cocktail
3 oz rye
1 sugar cube
1 dash angostura bitters
1 dash peychaud's bitters  
1 splash Herbsaint (Pernod can be substituted)
lace a glass with Herbsaint.  Then add the sugar cube and dash bitters onto 
the cube.  Add rye.  Garnish with a lemon twist.
For Brandy Sazerac, replace rye with brandy and garnish with orange twist
For Bourbon Sazerac, replace rye with bourbon.
Obituary Cocktail
3.5 oz dry gin
1/2 oz dry vermouth
1 dash Herbsaint (Pernod can be substituted)
shake hard with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
