I went to a place in Portland, OR over the holidays called Saucebox where they
serve, among many other drinks, a Pimm's martini. It's essentially a take on
the Pimm's cup. Where the Pimm's cup is essentially Pimm's No. 1 and soda (or
7-Up or ginger ale) garnished with a slice of cucumber, the Pimm's martini is
cucumber-infused vodka and Pimm's No. 1 stirred, served up, and garnished with
a slice of cucumber.
I wouldn't say it was very good (too much cucumber taste), but it was
certainly like no other drink I've had, and an interesting transformation of
the Pimm's cup.
