I have been working for a very small pubco for a couple of years now and have
managed to work up from glass collector to assistant manager.

I really want to work at a city centre cocktail bar but only have very limited
cocktail experience; our pubs only made about a dozen rather unimaginative
vodka cocktails. I am however reading up as much as I can from a number of
different sources and really am dedicated to learning more about the industry.

I was hoping for a few suggestions of city centre bars I could approach and
possibly some tips of the way to do it. Should I offer my skills as a
barbacker or go for a tender job?

Thanks in advance,

Mike Isherwood
