Subject: apple martini with grenadine??? Or something???
From: Emmie

Hi! My cousin lives in the Bronx, and recently had an apple martini for the
first time. He obviously had too many, because he cannot remember where he
had this variation! He said it was bright green , but instead of the
recognized cherry in the bottom of the martini glass, there was "some sort of
syrup or liquid". I'm assuming that must be grenadine, but can anyone confirm
that? If so, how do you pour it? If you think I am wrong, what was that
syrup, and how do you pour the drink with THAT?

Thanks,
Emmie

How do I pour? What is 'cl', 'oz' and 'pt'? How should I handle glassware?.
