Subject: What kind of $$$$ makes it a "good" night at work?

I know that your income varies from place to place, but I was curious to know
what the going rate is for many bartenders, whether it be a restaurant/bar, a
pub, a piano bar, catering private parties, or the clubs. With me, it depends
what time of year, what the weather is like, etc. I work at a restaurant/bar
on the water in sunny Florida (think of a Kenny Chesney or Alan Jackson video)
where the clientele is middle class and really laid back types. They all treat
me very well and I don't have to be slammed to make $250-$300 in a 7 hour
shift which ends at 10 or 11 at night. But during season, when I am balls to
the walls and have tourists screaming at me for a drink, I rarely break $200.
Weird, huh? Looking forward to the honest feedback.
