i like your mentality of wanting to enjoy the buzz and loosening up a little.
i wish to have you and more people like you as my patrons.

you have a lot of business hanging out here, as you can get a lot of info
straight from bartenders. if you get the time, i'd reccomend looking through
old threads for different drinks and see if you like the sound of them. one
piece of advice i'd offer is that, if you come across an ingredient that you
are not too keen on, think of its place in the drink and realise that its
flavour will be balanced out (not cancelled out) with that of other
ingredients. (unless its the base or dominant ingredient of course)

Vodka and cranberry or dark rum and coke both with a sqeeze of lime are fine.
Also try asking for a dark and stormy (dark rum, lime juice, ginger beer) with
a drop of angostura bitters or a tom collins (gin, lemon juice sugar, soda
water) or a whiskey sour (whiskey, lemon juice, sugar, bitters, egg white) as
a nice introduction into mixed drinks. Would like to know what kind of glass
your Mudslide was served in.
lots of love and luck
