Subject: New: Mimosa or Orange Slush

My father used to call this a Mimosa but I see that is listed here as a
champagne drink. The drink is quite simple and I'm surprised it doesn't appear
to be listed though there are some close to it.

Ingredients:
1 to 1 1/2 ounces gin
splash of grenadine
orange juice

Method:
I put the gin and grenadine into an old-fashioned glass and then fill with
orange juice to taste. Then I pour the mixture into a martini shaker and
repeat until I've filled the shaker. The shaker then goes into the freezer and
is swirled about every 15 minutes or so until it turns to slush. I suppose you
could speed the process with ice and a blender but I don't like the idea of
diluting this one.
