aloha POS commentary please?

anybody out there have experience using one-a these at the bar? I'm looking to
do some cocktail waitressing and I always did things the old fashioned way at
the till in all my other jobs..
I have to say I'd feel much better about asking for a job someplace that uses
a POS system, if I at least have some idea of how it works and how difficult
it will be to learn.
