That wasn't the impression that I got. Besides, I think that a lot of people
that DO attend bartending school don't have the personality for bartending...
but when they are butt-wipes behind the bar, people assume it's because of the
school. Um.. no... if they came off the street, got a job tending bar, and
were a butt-wipe, they'd still be a butt-wipe! It has nothing to do with the
school.

Anyone that can grab a bottle by the neck is NOT a bartender! - Which is why I
get annoyed when someone adds a shot of rum to daiquiri mix and think that
makes them a 'bartender'!

As can be said for many that never found a bartending school, though.

The question about portions... and yes, he DID attend a bartending school.
This makes NO sense to me. I went to ONE school, but there are lots. I can't
think that I would have been ok spending more than a couple of hours there and
no one told me what a shot was.

But that's just me.

..... and this applies to more than JUST those that attend a bartending
school. This would apply to any one. (Right?)

That wasn't what I was saying. I was saying him (Kegger) asking the question
wasn't the action of a person that had recently attended a bartending school.
I was wrong... as he had. Or at least, he's said he had.
